Manage macOS Software Updates using Intune

In this guide, I will show you how to manage macOS software updates using Intune. You can use Microsoft Intune to manage software updates for macOS devices that are enrolled as supervised devices. Do you have supervised macOS 12 and later devices in your setup? If this is the case, you can use Intune to manage software updates. The macOS users who enroll using one of the Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) methods (Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager) are considered as supervised. You can now use Intune policies to manage macOS software updates for devices that were enrolled using Automated Device Enrollment as of Intune Service release 2210. Microsoft keeps adding additional features with every release, making it easier to deploy the updates for macOS devices. In most organizations, allowing users to install updates on their macOS devices is strictly forbidden. Especially if you want all of your macOS devices to run the same version. Like Windows devices, Intune allows you to...

Configuration Manager 2305 Technical Preview New Features

Configuration Manager 2305 Technical Preview update has been released by Microsoft. The new features in technical preview 2305 include the option to set the preferred management point for PXE boot during OSD, a new site maintenance task “Delete Aged Task Execution Status Messages” and much more. After the release of technical preview 2303, Microsoft skipped the release of technical preview 2304. That’s because, as per the new SCCM release cadence, there will be only four ConfigMgr Technical Preview (TP) releases per year.  Two will be released before each production's current branch release, and one of the Technical Preview releases would be a baseline release. If you are running technical preview 2303 in your ConfigMgr lab, you can directly upgrade to SCCM TP version 2305 via updates and servicing. In case your technical preview lab is expired, you must rebuild it to install the TP 2305. In this article, we’ll go over the steps to install the ConfigMgr technical preview 2305 updat...

Enable Dark Mode on Windows365.microsoft.com | Cloud PCs

In this basic post, I will show you how to enable dark mode on Windows365.microsoft.com. You can now switch the windows365.microsoft.com site to dark mode for a better viewing experience. Starting in Service Release 2304, Cloud PC users now have the option to use dark mode on windows365.microsoft.com. Turning on the dark mode for Windows 365 portal will make the items and entries appear dark. It darkens the overall appearance of the console. One of the ways to connect and access your cloud PC is by browsing the Windows 365 homepage using a browser. Since this is a URL, you must manually turn on the dark mode every time you visit the site. The Windows 365 app doesn’t have a dark mode feature available yet. If you connect and use a Cloud PC for long hours, enabling the dark mode on Windows365.microsoft.com makes sense. It makes it easier on administrators’ eyes to use the Windows 365.microsoft.com site for long periods of time. How to Enable Dark Mode on Windows365.microsoft.com? Let’s l...
